I have converted a storage space to act as my work studio and gallery.

What I saw wasn't filth but opportunity. I swept it out, used cleaners, painted the walls, ceiling and floor and put real windows in, replacing the panes of glass that had only let in light without any air for ventilation. I put in counters and bought storage racks to go underneath the counters. And there are now lights as well!

Then I was able to unpack boxes and boxes of my art that had been stored for too many years, never seeing the light of day. Most of my art is in my gallery/studio where I can see it as well as be able to show it to others. Some is outside in my garden, also.

My Studio/Gallery is in the same building that I use for my Airbnb guesthouse. The studio/gallery and guesthouse are on my property but not connected to my home.

It makes me very happy to be able to have my art be visible not only to me but now to others. There is still so much to do. But I am on my way, at last. See my art >>>
